We Breathe Quality
We produce few coins, but each coin is nothing short of perfection.
We Breathe Quality
At Al Fatemi Islamic Mint, we take pride in our work producing coins of the highest quality using the most innovative minting techniques.
Proof Quality
Collectors coins come in various qualities. Al Fatemi Islamic Mint produces Proof coins, the highest possible quality. Proof struck coins are far more superior to other coins. They are also far more difficult to manufacture. Regular coins are struck once, giving them a clean and complete finish. Proof coins, are struck multiple times using a hydraulic press in a dust-free environment to create a more defined, intricate and shinier appearance. The attractive and appealing nature of Proof coins is one of the primary reasons they are sought after by collectors all over the world.
Quality Controls and Inspections
Each coin is closely inspected various times during the minting process. Even the slightest flaw is reason to reject the coin. Rejected coins are melted down and struck again. Unlike other organizations, we take great pride in our high rejection rate. It means that our inspection process works and that our customers receive truly flawless coins. This strict process shows in our final product. Even our Brass coins have a flawless finish better than most precious metal coins.
“Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution” – William A Foster
Deep Relief Designs
Al Fatemi Islamic Mint specializes in creating artwork with very deep, high-relief designs. The coins are then struck multiple times at high pressure to ensure that every minute detail on the hand sculpted die is transferred on to the coin. The additional high pressure strikes, result in a far superior coin with exceptional detail.

Hand Sculpted Dies
Al Fatemi Islamic Mint dies are created using a sculpt. A sculptor hand sculpts the artwork into a 3ft wide piece of plaster. The final steel die is then made from this sculpture. The sculpt allows for a coin with extraordinary depth and texture. For example, the water well of Jame Anwar on the obverse of the Golden Jubilee would not be have been possible using lower cost computer generated dies.
Religious Significance
Every intricate detail of our design has religious significance behind it. An immense amount of research and thought is put behind our designs. For example, the reverse of the Masjid Al Nabawi coin is a recreation of the doors at the entrance of the mosque.
