Al Fatemi Mint is proud to introduce an exquisite commemorative limited edition Proof coin, WORLD ASHARA 1442H.
This release commemorates the unique historical Ashara Mubaraka of 1442H where every house across the world became a masjid.
Design and Religious Significance
The obverse is a detailed 3 dimensional rendering of a family of four dressed in libas-e-anwar, seated respectfully in front of a television. The TV has the words “Har ghar ek masjid” printed in bold to represent how . (Translation : Every house is a mosque). Above the family are four flags in bright red and green with the words “Ya Hussain” representing the tayzeen hung in the living room of every mumineen accross the world during this historical event.
To capture the resilience of the Dawoodi Bohra community in the face of the pandemic, this years Ashara Mubaraka release breaks from the tradition of rendering a mosque on the Obverse. The typical flag of the hosting country was also replaced by tayzeen.
Lastly, the very bottom of the obverse is a calligraphic rendering of the words “Zikr Al Hussain Khair Zad Al Zakireen”. These words are the first verse of the Marisiyah Mubarakah of Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) that was recited daily during the Ashara Mubaraka event.
On the Reverse is a calligraphic rendering of the official logo of the 1442H Ashara Mubaraka representing this once in a lifetime event. The calligraphic rendering in the center has the word “Hussain” encased in a circle with the number 1442 representing the year. Above the circle is a calligraphic rendering of the words “Ayam Majalis Zikr Moulanal Hussain”.
Exclusivity
This coin is minted as a strict limited edition with a maximum mintage of only 100 and will soon be sought after collector items in the years to come.
The Ashara coins will be only be available for sale until March 15th 2021 or until quantities last. As with all our releases, the timeless piece is made available during its defined sale window until quantities last.
Presentation
Each coin is encased in an air tight capsule and inserted in a fine wood presentation case. Every Al Fatemi Mint issued coin comes with a certificate of authenticity with a unique serial number.
