As the fourth release in the “Ziyarat Collection”, Al Fatemi Mint is proud to introduce an exquisite commemorative limited edition Proof coin, MASJID AL NABAWI.
This release commemorates Masjid Al Nabawi , the grand mosque of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Design and Religious Significance
The obverse is a detailed 3 dimensional rendering of Masjid Al Nabawi, with the famous Green Dome and Minarah of the mosque visible. Every minute detail of the mosque has been incorporated into the design to create this prestigious coin. The dome is colored green on each coin using a delicate color injection technology. The Minarahs and Grand arches of the mosque and detailed brickwork can all be clearly seen in the detailed high-relief rendering.
On the Reverse, Noor Islamic Mint has recreated an exact replica of the entrance door to Masjid Al Nabawi. The calligraphy reads “Mohammudun Rasulullah”. The attention to detail in creating this design is exceptional. Numerous revisions of the coin were made until the coin exactly resembled the actual door of the mosque.
Exclusivity
With a strict limited mintage of only 75 coins world wide, these coins will soon be sought after collector items in the years to come. This timeless piece is now available to order with its release date of October 7th 2014. Coins will be sold on a first come basis in sequential order until quantities last. Once the limited quantity of coins have been minted, the dies will be retired never to be minted again.
